CAT-B is an initiative funded by the International Arctic Science Committee which is concerned with biodiversity and environmental change in the Arctic.
CAT-B aims to promote research that will lead to improvements in the quantification and understanding of the role of biodiversity in arctic and alpine ecosystems, and to evaluate both actual and potential threats to biodiversity.
